“It’s How You Work”
Justin’s POV:
“What time does Sel fly in?” Fredo questioned as I went over to the cupboard on the bus.
“Like one thirty ish” I replied grabbing a box of Oreo’s and tossing them to him before grabbing a packet of Sour Patch Kids. I ripped the packet open and grabbed a handful; tossing one up in the air and catching it in my mouth before turning to the skinny floor length mirror there was on the bus and slowly walking through some dance moves.
“You’re nervous” Fredo stated sitting back on the couch as he ate yet another Oreo.
“You don’t say” I replied sarcastically, going back and rerunning a move that I had missed.
“Why?” he snorted as if seeing Selena wasn’t something to worry about and three months ago I would have agreed with him.
“Because we’re- we aren’t together anymore- last time we saw each other in person we were at each other’s throats, she was in tears, I was in tears and it was just a mess” I replied shaking my head as the memory of Selena slamming the hotel door in my face replayed in my head.
“Please don’t leave me”
“You made this decision, Justin. Not me.” She said through her thick waterfall of tears. Her cheeks were raw, her eyes wide but she looked so lost and from how I felt my expression was mirroring hers.
“I need you. I know this whole distance thing is hard and I’ve screwed up but please, give me the benefit of the doubt. You did when I was sixteen and that was the best thing that ever happened to me so please just do it once more” I pleaded continuously running my hands through my messy hair.
“I gave you the benefit of the doubt; yes. But look where we are now because of it” she replied before turning on her heel and walking out of the door to the hotel room we were supposed to be sharing slamming it with force behind her.
“Who flies five and a half thousand miles to see someone if they don’t love them?” Fredo questioned and I just shrugged my shoulders.
“It’s not the same”
“It is the same Justin. You guys are hopelessly in love and nothing is ever going to change that. We’ve known Selena for almost six years and who is the only person she has ever flown thousands of miles on no sleep to see?” he questioned and I didn’t reply because I already knew the answer. “When her plane lands I give it six hours before you guys are all lovey dovey again. Knowing you you’ll be all awkward for the first hour, then you’ll have small one syllable conversations which will turn into the both of you arguing and getting at each other’s throats, then you will walk out so you don’t say something stupid. She’ll be pacing around the room freaking out until you come back, you’ll talk it out calmly and then you’ll kiss and make up. It’s how you work. You argue but you get over it; that’s how it’s supposed to happen and how a relationship is supposed to function” he stated matter-of-factly.
“Thank you for the wise words mister Guru” I laughed and he placed his hand on his heart letting his mouth drop into and o trying to act hurt. “I don’t know this time” I whispered more to myself than him.

In an effort to prove all is well in their relationship, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez went out TOGETHER in L.A. last night … and made sure the cameras caught them holding hands.As TMZ reported, the relationship has been on the rocks … with the two breaking up multiple times in the last few months. But last night, it appeared things were back on … when Biebs and Gomez hit up the Pink Pepper restaurant in Hollywood for a romantic dinner date. When asked about the status of their relationship, Bieber told the photogs, “What does it look like?” Looks like a bunch of teenage girls are gonna be heartbroken again … for now. (x)
